"ÁRBOL". THE NEW ALBUM, OUT 12/07/2026

Hello dear friends, I am so happy to let you know that "ÁRBOL", my new album will be released on December 7, 2026, - Holly's birthday- as we also celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.<3
ÁRBOL features nine new original compositions in a contemporary jazz setting, with Adam Asarnow on piano, Evan Arredondo on acoustic bass, and Randy Tico on fretless electric bass. Special guest Lois Mahalia lends her beautiful voice to “Sunlight in Spring,” the album's first single, which will be released on October 23rd.
On that day, "ÁRBOL" will also be available for pre-order in all platforms, including: Apple Music, Bandcamp, Spotify, YouTube Music, and others — as well as right here on my website. There will also be some special surprises, bundle offers, new videos, and live performances surrounding the release of ÁRBOL, so please stay tuned!

A NEW COLLABORATION WITH SINGER MAGOS HERRERA NEXT WEEK!!!
We will be recording two new songs for an upcoming album
Very happy to let you know that on Tuesday, August 18th (a day before my birthday) I will be recording two new compositions of mine ( "De Alma y Sombra" and "El Árbol de la Vida"), in collaboration with the extraordinary Mexican singer and dear friend, Magos Herrera. This will be the third time we will work together.
The recording will take place at "2nd Story Sound" in New York City. Extremely happy to have Alejandro Venguer at the board!
Both songs will be part of "Canciones de Transfiguración, Amor y Esperanza", a new album to be released next year ( on December 27th of this year, "Árbol", a new Jazz piano trio will come out as well).

Hello dear friends, just a short post to invite you to join us tomorrow, Friday, August 14 at 4 PM Costa Rica hour, (3 PM Pacific), and tune into the program 96.7 Jazz from the university of Costa Rica.
Tomorrow's program will be dedicated to my album "Of Soul and Shadow" (2007), which we will be listening and talking about it's genesis, it's relation to Costa Rican folklore and much more, along with its hosts, Alberto Zuñiga and Patricia Gutierrez Gross. I hope you can join in.
